Put the device into (Device Firmware Update) following the on-screen prompts.

You typically need an older OS (Windows XP, 7, or 8.1), 32-bit Java runtime , and .NET Framework 3.5 or 4.0.

Connect the device and select it from the toolkit’s dropdown menu. Click "Boot" and select the downloaded IPSW file.
