The story follows three brothers in 2019 London who are set to marry three sisters. However, upon visiting Sitamgarh in India, one brother (played by Akshay Kumar) begins to experience flashes of their past lives from 600 years ago in 1419. He discovers that due to an ancient conspiracy, they are all about to marry the wrong partners in the present day, risking a repeat of a historical tragedy.
