Set 22 years after the events of the original Jurassic Park , the film returns to Isla Nublar, where a fully functional theme park, , finally fulfills John Hammond's dream. To combat declining visitor numbers, the park's corporate leadership orders the creation of a new, genetically modified hybrid: the Indominus rex . The story follows:
